Integrating hammerspoon as the keybinding manager for yabai is a perfect match. You can treat yabai as an api for window management, and script some pretty cool things, like sending the current window to a new space, and either keeping focu

What? I can't understand this at all. We like gems _because_ they are shiny, not in spite of that. But alright, subjective opinion. I'm just enjoy my affordable shiny rocks over here.

Unless I'm mistaken, it's shown in a format localised to the user, so... i'd much rather you keep your hands off that, and I'll enjoy my DD.MM.YYYY

Yeah, tables serve as both lists and maps. You can even have a table with _both_.

It's not unheard of to be applying to 50+ companies in the hopes of hearing back from 5. It's not a couple sentences - if you wrote three sentences per letter, thats 150 sentences.

For neovim users, there's a work-in-progress clone, neogit: https://github.com/timUntersberger/neogit/ Some of my colleagues use emacs/magit, and after seeing how absolutely lovely the workflow is, I

I've been happily using yabai for years - I even wrote some custom functions in hammerspoon to send windows to new spaces, move focus, and swap windows around n/s/e/w with key-bindings. Can't imagine life without it

They're just a file, so git can see it. Good habit would be to add it to the project's gitignore, or your global gitignore (or both)

I completely take your point, and would _love_ some kind of negative externality to keep from scrolling to much. I'd see that as a positive.

The tree-sitter ecosystem continues to expand thanks in large part to neovim's enthusiastic adoption. It's a shame Atom was sunset in favor of VS-code - having spawned both Electron and Tree-sitter, I think it's clear which w
