It’s a side effect of where the early avatar creating tools had their development effort focused. Now it’s just a weird cultural thing.

The opinions around facebook’s metaverse are hilarious when things like Second Life, WoW, EVE, VR Chat, and even Roblox have been so massively popular yet unrecognized for what they are.

What if, instead of a gun which imparts massive accelerations on the payload, we instead use something with lesser acceleration. I’m thinking of a hybrid between an elevator, a slingshot, and a railgun. The point here is to get to escape ve

I’ve built something very similar. It uses an Arduino Pro Micro and the HID library. It uses a large knob as a scroll wheel. Now I’m so used to it that scrolling without my extra off-hand device feels awkward and slow. Easily my most useful

Is using the corpse of a bug predator really a good way to capture bugs? It seems like that’s something they’d be likely run away from.

I wonder how much overall cost it would add to use the prints as the mold in lost-mold casting of aluminum or something. Would make them significantly longer lasting.
