> Owners aren’t banking on rent, so pay them $3k per month. It’s all about appreciation. But why would houses appreciate if lots of them stay empty?

On airliners? There's tons of them.. TCAS (you're about to hit someone), GPWS (you're about to hit something), EICAS (your engine isn't doing so well), etc.

> Given how badly companies treat engineers as soon as they have signed on the dotted line Complete anecdata, but engineers have been some of the best treated employees at the companies I've worked at.

Are you sure it's WD40 and not WD40-branded chain lube? I use that on my motorbike, and it's nothing to do with the WD40 spray - just the same parent company.

Oh absolutely, it says a lot about modern aircraft design that when I say it has an effect I just mean a 1% increase in fuel consumption!

Certainly looks more than cosmetic in the photos, surely has an effect on the aerodynamics if you're flying around with mesh on show.

If houses are guaranteed to have their own charger, surely that reduces pressure on the public infrastructure for people who don't have their own charger?

Imagine if every time a new build estate was built it was required to join-up to some existing cycle infrastructure (sort of like how they connect to the existing utility infrastructure). That would require cycle infrastructure in the first

Cashback perks aren't great, but the airline credit cards are quite good if you'll definitely use the miles.

I've not seen a credit card where you can't automatically pay the full balance by direct debit each month. You do still have to do some maths (actual balance = current account balance - card balance) but I don't worry about i

Absolutely, my point was that if you can remove them for this sort of demo, then if they get damaged by a pothole then it's probably easy to replace them.
