Not retain it, you probably have a copy with you which you would read if you did end up diverting somewhere. NOTAMs also affect which airports go in your "would divert to" list when you're planning the flight. E.g. if the NOT

The NOTAMs for a commercial flight from JFK to LAX, for example, would be several pages long. Warnings about construction work at either airport, closed taxiways, cranes in the vicinity of the airport, enroute navigational aids which are un

I've switched to Carrot and paid to enable "layouts"; they have a very Dark Sky-esque one.

You don't need a garage, just a driveway. Plenty of people with chargers mounted on an outside wall.

Presumably most of the charging done at home? It seems to be when you're reliant on premium (fast) public chargers that the costs add up. At home you can take advantage of things like the Octopus EV tariff and pay 10p/kWh overnigh

Commercial airliners, and even some GA planes, have an accurate measure of fuel consumed using a fuel flow transducer.

To cross the Atlantic with a twin-engined plane has that requirement (ETOPS).

The beauty of machines like the Gaggia (I have a Classic) is their simplicity. I can get spare parts to replace everything in the machine, and work on it myself (I'm not mechanically-minded, but it's very straight forward). The bi

I guess an edge-case benefit is that when these cars come on to the used market (after the 2-3 year lease ends), the next owner can spec the car as they wish by enabling certain features.

I used to have this problem at major stations like London Bridge. Full 4G signal bars, but no actual throughput. Seems to have gotten better lately, not sure if that's the effect of 5G or reduced passengers due to WFH.
