I don't think evidence supports the idea that selling alcohol in special stores will avoid alcoholism. Hard drug users go to much more trouble than visiting a special store, and their numbers remain significant despite a variety of eff

What about Rectangle? When moving from i3 in Linux to Mac I tried Amethyst for a while but switched to Rectangle soon after and have used it since. Still haven't found anything truly comparable to i3, though.

"They taught me how to type" sounds a lot more like fond recollection than disinterest to me, but I guess we all read things differently. Your way seems needlessly uncharitable, though!

Are you looking at the "applyTo" method? I'm not seeing a variadic overload of "invoke", but I'm also not a Java or JVM person. I'm wondering if I'm overlooking something.

I'm sure you've heard of prerequisites, but maybe you haven't encountered any questionable requirements in the classes you took at the schools you attended? Personally, I had to take classes like "Ancient Eastern Civiliz

I think GP is talking about flashing the headlights by turning them off and back on quickly, rather than flashing the high-beams. This is what I've usually seen in the US when drivers want to say "thank you" or "you can

Probably because you're nowhere near as "locked-in" to GH. You can move your source code and all of its history to another hosting platform in minutes with git. If you want to move your Slack/Discord community to another

I think comparing the use of contractors to the use of cloud services is pretty disingenuous in this context. The reason that "one-person company" is emphasized in the title is because people will expect to find a list of technolo

The guideline is about discussing upvotes/downvotes in any comment, not just your own: > Please don't comment about the voting on comments. It never does any good, and it makes boring reading.

Is there some reason you think the GP missed this point? Being able to restrict user access to issues-only would make using GH for project management a bit "cleaner", regardless of whether the repo is issue only or not.

Personally, my needs when editing source code are not unique enough to be worth spending a "few years" fiddling with vim when at least 80% of my needs are covered out of the box with an IDE. Not to mention that I only spend a frac
