Cool, thanks for sharing. It's nice to hear salaries like that are not limited to SV.

Salaries in Switzerland reach $500k-$1 million/year? Honest question, I know nothing about Switzerland.

If the title was just "JAMMA Standard", then that would suggest the original JAMMA standard from the 80s. JVS is its successor, and unfortunately has a confusing name.

Are you actually getting Chirp? Seems some Linux users are not. I'm on Chrome on Ubuntu 20 and I do get Chirp, and it looks quite bad IMO.

I'm somewhere in between. I also paid for a non subscription version and I also feel like I was forced to upgrade to the subscription. Sadly switching password managers, especially if you share with a family, is really painful. We now

In the US, any party that takes the issue seriously does not get elected in an meaningful capacity. Maybe a city representative, even state representative here and there, but that's about it.

Are you equating "bottom line" with revenue? Is that why you feel this is a contradiction? Bottom line also has a more general definition of "the company's end goal". If the bugs don't impact Spotify's goa

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised. I think bugginess just doesn't affect bottom lines of most companies these days, hence the state we're in. Also, anecdotally, I find people are very tolerant of bugs and just suffer in silence a

And the covid relief bill increased the credits. If your income is low, you can get surprisingly decent insurance for not much money. "Surprisingly decent" is in the context of American health insurance.

The code that you locally control and own you can have strong confidence in and type checking can be very valuable. Anything brought in at run time (say a third party lib loaded via a script tag or data fetched from an endpoint) you have no
