Building a startup around this neat trick was always as doomed. It is incredible the amount of delusion they would have needed to assume this was sustainable. Edit: not a whole company, just a side project within a company I guess. Still, s

That's quite the leap you made there to get dramatic about LLMs takin' our jerbs. It seems to be a trend... Support is not likely it, it's not the type of app that requires a lot of human support in the first place, tbh, I&#x

Do you have an example of what your email address is? Is it like "john@gmail.com" or "mike@hotmail.com" or something? Seems pretty crazy that someone chooses it randomly every week. Have you considered getting your own d

Not really, you are assuming they are using the exact same bombs and just switching out the planes. It is like saying a a iPod Nano will never work because you still need to find a way to fit a spinning HDD in it.

You are also discarding the point about weight. The weight of the bomb is what matters to the plane, destructive power is what matters on the ground... something that took X kg of destructive power to destroy 20 years about may only take X&

I think you're talking past each other because you're assuming 100% of bombs are hitting their target and the other person is not. If you need 100kg of bombs for a mission but only 50% of them hit targets, then 50kg will work if y

> A similar attack can also be used on Android devices and Windows laptops. BleepingComputer reported last week that the Bluetooth spam attacks can be used on Samsung Galaxy phones to generate a never-ending amount of pop-ups.

Maybe because it isn't that big of an issue? Have you heard about this anywhere besides HN? If it were a big deal you know all the websites would be all over it as if the Mac were doomed.

First I've heard of any issues.. I have done a couple upgrades already with no issue. I'm sure there are some scenarios where it fails, but Sonoma has been out a while with millions of users being prompted constantly to upgrade. F

Fun story =) Anyone else freaked out by that "time" format though? Seems like a strange choice, would have expected something more standard like ISO 8601 with timezone offset. "time": "Sun Sep 24 22:02:19 2023"

I have never heard of anyone refusing to buy America cars as a political point, at least not in America. The opposite is true though. Some people in America refuse to buy American cars because historically they have been less reliable and l
