With DO, these days, they don't run me out of bandwidth, but my instance falls over (depending on what I am doing - which ain't much), but with AWS, they auto-scale and I get a $5000 bill at the end of the month. I prefer the form

I don't remember PoF being famous for that, but they got a lot of bang for the buck on their serving costs. What I do remember, is that it was a social data collection experiment for a couple of social scientists, that never original

Unlike Reddit, logged in and logged out users largely see the same thing. I wouldn't imagine there is much logic involved in serving personalized pages, when they don't care who you are.

Well, for one, TPS is attempting to optimize the manufacturing of a fixed design. With software the design-made-code, where software is what in automotive would be considered the design process is 100% of the cost, the shipping of bits is

If you aren't a software products or services company (engine of revenue), won't IT always be a cost center? If you are in IT at a bank, in retail, logistics, telecom, O&G, even trading, if what you produce isn't what you

You mean centralized authorities on both sides? If so, that's probably true. Anybody who wants to be in charge has a baby totalitarian in their chest wanting to get out... If not - can you clarify?

How so? We all hate to be secure in our persons? Or are you looking at other clauses of that very brief paragraph?

I'm moving into your territory, I think. I find that I absolutely love the smell and flavor, but the caffeine is starting to be an irritant as I age. I don't (and never have) like sugary soda drinks, and water is "OK", b

Ummm. Pretty close. 3 pots of coffee - poured over ice - from about 4am ~ 10pm or so? I tend to pretty obsessively sip during coding sessions. Although as I have aged, I have noticed that it might be disrupting my aging sleep patterns, so I

I moved into a "new" apartment just over two years ago, and ordered TP on Amazon. 24 or 36 rolls or something. I fat-fingered the "Add to Cart" volume button, and got like 4x36 rolls. I'm a single guy - so I acciden
