There is another benefit from using the fastutil library, decreased memory usage, which in some cases very significant depending of course on your data structures.

This reminds me of Brussels, a lot of "independent" bakeries basically get either frozen or already baked bread delivered early morning from somewhere else, probably a big bakery that exists on the outskirts of the city that does

Maybe due to the fact that I played all his games on a laptop and I hated the mac trackpad I decided to use mostly the hotkeys that are provided. That worked great and also sped things up significantly.

Did you mean 9 billion clicks or impressions daily? 50 person team to run an adnetwork on tech side only? I am really curious why did it take that many people before going to Lambdas. We are in the adtech space also and there is a 5 persons

We had the same issue where I work and we are doing a very similar thing but on a way larger scale (adtech) for audience building and we actually resorted to compressed bitmaps since postgres was not cutting it. It's fairly easy to jus

The investigation for those three companies mentioned is complete and they have to pay the taxes. Now if they finally will do after years of appeals that's a different question. That was my "aka" summary.

Sure, there was some news that EC has dealt with Amazon, Starbucks, InBev but did they actually pay anything back? Did they appeal? Last I heard for InBev the Belgian Finance minister said: "the consequences for the companies concerned

I am just curious, can you find a concrete example of where the interests of the people and state were put above the interests of the lobby groups of the big corporations?

I am not a manager and though I agree that sometimes there can be issues with managers/leadership I am really curious why you are defending coders."Coders" that actually do not try to improve themselves and read up on good pr

I am curious if the other streaming video providers are doing something on the same principle to the Netflix Open Connect. Just by assuming that 5-10% of their actual Netflix video traffic gets served from AWS and the rest gets served from
