Thanks for posting at least one pic of what launch games looked like last generation. I urge people to go look at some others on the web. Anyone arguing that games don't look that much better than current gen need to remember how much

Neither PS4 or Xbox One are backwards compatible with their previous generation counterparts. Both of them went x86 this time around with no emulation layer or additional legacy hardware to maintain any sort of backwards compatibility. A li

Well now you should just post some core specs so we can test your claim. Exact CPU, GPU, and RAM amount?

It's not only about being thin, but making it light as well. Making it thicker and same weight and/or heavier is noticeable to more potential customers than even more CPU performance.

Wow, this particular excerpt from the article is stretching things a bit too thin: "Clearly there are problems with the government’s IT procurement processes, but if the same level of dysfunction had been present in the software behind

They adjusted their revenue guidance upwards after announcing weekend sales. I would think at least one of the iPhone models exceeded sales expectations, not just "performed as expected".

Podcasts have had the same effect for me with driving as well as chores like dishes, taking out the trash, etc. My only fear is I'm developing some sort of dependence on audio (specifically talk show type audio) to get anything done!

I love how basically every headline for this event makes no mention of expiring betas. This is not that exciting, but gotta get those clicks and make it seem like iOS 7 in general is crapping out across the globe.

Used to love Grooveshark, but the music quality started to get a little too hit-or-miss for me. I find "normal" radio services like TuneIn, Pandora, and now iTunes Radio to be an overall better experience. I am impressed that Groo

A good thing for consumers, but I wonder how developers feel about this. If they fix some bug that may have been causing big problems on a server-side component, won't they now have to worry about these older versions being used?

Pretty cool. I know this is more of a demonstration of simulating the iOS 7 UI, but I'm assuming to use this for something you'd want the URLs to update as you move through an app? I may have missed references to this limitation,

Not solely related to the Nintendo-on-iOS idea, but I really hope the gamepad support catches on in iOS 7. Just one or two really good gamepad implementations would make more in-depth or "traditional" game experiences on iOS so mu

Pulling out one example of what may be a poor user experience and then generalizing that the sum of these subjective things is "sign of the internal struggles at Apple" is reaching a bit. Apple is a hot topic these days, and many

Ah, that's my misunderstanding. I was envisioning a finger from each hand doing the zooming. One holding + one pinching - duh, yes I do that all the time. Whoops!

Exactly. Who exactly uses two hands to do pinch-to-zoom on a phone? I've never seen that.

I would argue that having the type of professional software that only companies like Apple can develop, available at an affordable price, is a great win for consumers. Companies will find ways to compete. Just look at the $30-$50 apps that

I think the point was more about a one-way trip for a single person. I'd agree that it's not a one-way trip for humanity, though. Once some of us get there (e.g., progeny of the original crew), eventually some of us could get back

I wonder what the motivation was to communicate this to employees now (knowing it would "leak"), versus just waiting until their event on 5/21. The rumor has been widespread for a while now, and I don't think two more weeks would have done

The first thing I thought of when I saw the $25k/yr figure was...do they have health insurance? How did the pay for the delivery of their child? What happens when medical and other emergencies happen? I assume they have savings for that, bu
