I've always pictured the Big Bang as a big explosion. But maybe it's better to think of it as a big cooling?

I heard about this recently but I can't remember where. Was the topic of this tea test on a podcast or something recently?

I have an XPS 13 9310. I think the build quality is fine. The battery has never been replaced but it might be time: $ upower -i /org/freedesktop/UPower/devices/battery_BAT0 | grep energy-full energy-full:

I have a Dell XPS 13 Developer Edition from work that came with Ubuntu 20.04 preinstalled. Basically a flawless experience. I've posted about it on here before, I guess the Windows SKUs are slightly different? People reported different

That's true. My point was if you're part of the population that has a good job and still can't afford a home where you live, because of how we've allowed this situation in the housing market to happen, and which is a lar

I don't think what happened in SV is completely unique though. I live on the other coast and the price of housing maybe isn't as bad as SV but it is still outrageous. And I think some people lucky enough to afford it are buying in

I tried it. It's decent. I pulled up a Ubuntu 24.04 system because 22.04 didn't have the required library versions. I probably should have just installed the libs in a side location but somehow a new system felt like less typing.

Not only that, but I've been having lots of problems with Cloudflare lately. How much of the internet do they provide service for? Good grief...

I'm not infomred. Why will electricity be so cheap? Also, aren't renewables going to require a lot of batteries?

Opinions aside, they just don't have the resources for ports. That's the shame: that this project isn't more popular. Linux doesn't have this problem anywhere close to the way Haiku does.

I run Ubuntu on a Dell XPS 13 without any issues as far as I can tell. I've done almost no tweaking. I just do periodic software and firmware updates. I close the lid, throw it my bag, open it hours later, or the next day and I'm

I read "Have taken up farming" as "I now make a living from farming and nothing else". Maybe that was wrong of me to assume that but I was also thinking that's what the parent comment was referring to as well.
