We might just fundamentally disagree an the whole tool ideology. Imagine this device: It only has button, pressing it will torture every human beeing in earth for 100 years and then wipe out what's left. Trying to disassemble or analyz

No, that is not true. Look at the atomic bomb for example. The technology here is not just nuclear fission – the bomb itself has a lot of unique technology. There can be a lot inherently wrong with technology, and there quite often is.

I think your are mixing “English, the lingua franca”, with “English, the language spoken in the US”. Why would using the lingua franca that everyone agrees on be imperialism?

Unfortunately, it is not true. In germany prostitution was legalized a few years ago and what mostly happened was a massive increase in it. The situation of prostitutes barely improved and human trafficking went up. But you have to keep in

Fun fact: Mathematics is not restricted in most German universities. If you are allowed to go to university in general, you are allowed to study maths – no matter your grades pre-university.

In Germany, university admission is based on your final grades in school, which are an accumulation of your grades of the last two years. Rich parents can of course help their kids be better in school, but there is no efficient exam preppin

All the translations your graphics card can perform are affine [1]. One effect of this is, that lines always stay lines. If you have a look at the pictures, you will see, that the Pannini projection does not preserve lines. So no – this can

Just use random words. Memorable passwords don’t have to be weak. Five random common english words are already very strong. Just make sure you don’t pick the words by hand.

That must have been a while ago – nowadays it’s just beautiful real-time latex-style math with just a few improvements where the latex syntax kinda fails (“3/4” instead of “\frac{3}{4}”, “"plain"” instead of “\text{plain}”).

It should be noted that word does indeed support all ligatures and glyph variants since Office 2013. Transparent text is also possible, put I guess it already was back then.

Nope, that is not correct. Insert is always (amortized) O(1). This is worst time. There is no “bad case”. You only need to be aware that a single insert might take longer. But that is not relevant in an absolute majority of cases. “Append

You should have learned that the exponential growth is the precise reason why appending to dynamic growth arrays is O(1) – a very surprising and unintuitive result in my opinion. Not knowing about exponential growth, I would have sworn that
