None of that makes the statement "the Spiegel list removes books it doesn't like" correct in a meaningful sense of the word. But I think I argued my point as well as I can. If I couldn't convince you yet that the origin

Both statements are technically correct. One statement clearly transports the facts, the other is massively misleading. The additional use of "books" is further misleading and technically not correct. It is one single book. Is see

Interesting point. The %timeit functionality actually used to output the mean of the x fastest runs, they seem to have changed that at some point. The docs still explain the old behavior [1]. I assume that they feel your concerns are addres

Note that this article is missing the most pythonic implementation, which is z = [a + b for a, b in zip(x, y)] This is also twice as fast as their fastest pure-python implementation on my machine.

I think the parent actually meant "debate", which to me as a fellow European also seems to be a very American thing. I don't think that debating and abstract logic are very related fields.

I don't think APM is misleading. Your basic assumption is that computers are better at StarCraft than humans. The whole point of these experiments is to prove that. Or to see whether we are advanced enough to build such a computer. The

My understanding is that they were providing a VPN that did the tracking and blocking, without gaining any access to the actual device. I don't see how this article is related to MDM profiles or Apple's press release. Am I missing

I don't know where you heard that, but that is not what property means. The concept of property represents a set of rights (and maybe obligations) that an owner of said property does possess. Your nose is not your property by the way,
