That mapping is going to happen though regardless if it is a headless or real-user interaction. I don't think these tools are going to help with mapping unless you know what kind of interaction you want to simulate, and be able to map

Their recommended notifications on Android are so spammy that they should be banned from the Play Store unless they change the defaults.

Fortunately Apple can't prevent PWAs from telling users that Apple is the reason they can't have good things. I'm disappointed however in Apple also blocking PWA's from the App Store.

I think a combination of social media manipulation and paid trolls basically describe the current political environment from my experience.

I get that but when you brought up TypeScript and React, these tools are pretty indifferent to the underlying frameworks and are primarily used to simulate web browser interactions. I suppose you could integrate them into your e2e testing a

Absolutely, there are already cheap third-party captcha solvers that basically outsource the captchas to real people. I could also see companies using this to inflate their user count.

This is about headless scripting for the browser, but your comment appears to be a shameless self-promotion for something unrelated.

I've used and love Puppeteer, but it also makes me realize with enough money and the right skills, these tools are exactly what would be used to mass manipulate social media. You could literally create thousands or millions of accounts

I can't imagine any scenario of a widely used email app opening a hyperlink that automatically composes and attaches local files being acceptable, even if they have to click send.

Combination of not caring and little to no ramifications if there is a major breach. Heck, sometimes they may be intentional but it is easy to play dumb if you get caught.

I guess, but if developers and team can't comprehend the security concerns and ramifications of a change then it should wait until someone does.

Why would Apple block something just because they finally added it as a native feature. Shouldn't users be allowed choice? Imagine Windows blocking third party task managers or Android blocking third-party calculators.

I expect Apple to start blocking more software that they build native features for and no longer want their users to use the third-party app. Apple users genuinely don't seem concerned enough to advocate for being able to install apps
