Sorry, didn't see these replies. But I just wanted to add, that at our busy bar, the manager's IDs were passworded. Actually, I assume they were passworded. I do not that for certain functions, the managers had a mechanism to go in a del

The app looks good, but from the video I think, wow it would take me a long time to put in an order. I was a bartender at a downtown Chicago restaurant using Aloha for more than a year. Aloha is not pretty, but it's really fast. I don't wa

visually it's very nice! great job. (but there are 400+ something groupon clones out there (and growing every day.) So technically it's not "all.")

if it's like other expense report apps, it's probably mechanical turk-like, and not OCR. ingenious though.

I wonder if you can always turn a double-marketplace problem into a situation where the buyers and seller is the same person. Or, if it means figuring out a way to change your business model to make sure they do become the same person.

Not trying to troll, but whenever I read the embed.ly home page, I can never figure out what I think the company actually does, when I should want to use it, or how I should use it? Is it a set of widgets for showing things like people's tw

So essentially you allow the new guy to work on the marketing side of the site without fear of "breaking" any of any critical backend functionality? I assume he was able to get started fairly quickly (not much to learn besides some html an

The nerd and wannabe designer in me was fascinated by reading the article, but I struggled with the takeaways other than a detailed reason to "not use comic sans" (which I think I've been able to do post 1997.) Are there more conclusions in

Crazy. Glad to hear that you were able to give back to a very needy community in need on your vacation. As opposed to say, buying a car and naming it after yourself. Can you provide any numbers or statistics on conversion from free to paid?

I can say that besides delicious, I haven't used any yahoo products besides fantasy football. It's a shame that they haven't attempted to monetize the service in order to keep it alive. I wonder if this is indicative of Yahoo, where the bu

There plenty of poorly run, large companies, that are filled with people that aren't that smart, bright, or motivated. Many of these companies don't have great perks, but you might get some job stability out of it. If you are going to work

Great job. Like other posters have said, this to me seems so new and innovative in an otherwise commoditized space. Is it intentional that there's such a big whitespace gap on the 'home' page? (Chrome 7, OS X 10.6) http://img.skitch.com/2
