It almost seems as though Yahoo are determined to make Flickr fail at the moment. I'm a paid pro member and I've been wondering why now for a while... Photographic content publishing on the internet has moved on a huge amount in the last co

I was up there as well, I used instagram on my old iPhone 3G (as well as rocking a DSLR) and had barely any problems at all. In fact I found the whole experience of the app very liberating, literally taking shots on the phone, styling them,

This is the exact reason I shut my account and have not looked back since. I actually find my life a lot more social since as well, people now email, text, skype and phone me a lot more, and it's not all on public display. Anyone that says

I think removing the display of karma will be a big benefit. It tends to be that when a site gets popular, you attract idiots who want to use it purely in the pursuit of having a "high score" on a popular site. Keeping the karma, but not di

If you look at buying a non-used car, you might get a wide choice of colours in the brochure, but in all honestly, how many garages will sell you the exact colour you want (with the spec you want) there & then? People I know who have tr

It truly amazes me that a company can not only design, manufacture and develop software like this in near 100% secrecy, but that they can also have their website completely updated instantly after the keynote with beautiful graphics and vid

I didn't expect them to hack it into the firmware overnight, but I thought maybe somebody would have re-signed OtherOS.self for > 3.15 firmwares on phat PS3's, created a homebrew bootloader or developed a basic proof of concept. All i'v

What I still find hard to believe is that the whole "cracking" effort was based around the fact Sony removed OtherOS and they (the hackers) wanted to return it to the people who paid for it. I still can't seem to find a workable solution to

I personally don't think this is a good move from Sony. Apple seem to have the right stance with their hardware being compromised - pretty much just ignore it. Bringing a legal action like this just raises the public awareness to the hack (
