I had a 2012 Macbook Air from Europe and it had some issues. I had no problems getting it fixed in the US. Not sure if it was because I had Apple Care.

You don't need to install go. It has the runtime thing built into the compiled executable.

Why is this thread flagged?

by chrisper 9y ago
Yes, but it is also enabled on Windows 10 by default.
788.
by chrisper 9y ago
Why is it enabled by default then? If you need such an old legacy thing, shouldn't it be the other way around? Like that you need to enable it if you need it rather than disable it if you don't.

by chrisper 9y ago
That doesn't sound like an issue though if you just need something cheap for now to just get going. You can keep in mind that it could fail any time and just plan around that (for now).

Those are actually (I think Fujitsu) Workstations. You should expect the same downtime you would expect from your own workstation if you were to use one at home. Maybe a bit less downtime since there would be less startups and the temperatu

When I first clicked on this, I thought that the guy must be from a banned Muslim country or something based on the title. So I assumed it would be another case of "anti-anti Muslim Ban" story. But it turned out he just got reject

I had a visa interview in 2012. It was a few questions, but I think it largely depends on why you are coming to the country and where you are coming from.

by chrisper 9y ago
When I applied for a Visa, I had to explain them what my parents do etc. Basically you have to convince them that you have enough reasons to return back home. You can do that in many ways, like saying all your family is home, or you own a h

How is it weak to say that he doesn't want this because he doesn't want to have to worry about supporting third party apps on his servers?

Yes. WhatsApp has a desktop client (web.whatsapp.com). End 2 end still works because it goes through your phone. So if your phone is off you can't use the desktop client.

I think in the newer Windows, they put the license key in the bios. That's the case with my Thinkpad at least. Whenever I reinstall Windows from scratch it detects the key automatically. Thankfully, you can now also just download the W

Why do the workers wear Hazmat suits in the image? Maybe my interpretation is spoiled by all those sci-fi disaster movies and games and they are just wearing protective suits in case of fire etc.

I understand what you mean. I was strictly referring to the user interaction with the firewall. Nftables seems easier than iptables, but not as easy as UFW or VyOS.

by chrisper 9y ago
I still prefer Vyetta's interface. It can be used in VyOS( https://vyos.io ). If you have to use it on a regular Linux box, I prefer UFW. Though, it looks like nftables has finally a nicer syntax than iptables making wrappers
