For a new project, I spent 1.5 hours in Balsamiq and 6 more implementing the mockup with bootstrap in rails 3.1. The end result is quite nice looking functional prototype that's already in a good place to start building the actual app upon.

Congrats from Houdini as well; MobileWorks looks great! We'd definitely be interested exploring this option further.

The price would be $0.01 for the lifetime of the image; not every time your application ask for the image. This idea would just be the starting point for integration; we could offer a callback to integrate with your backend after an image h

It might not be for every company, but my wife quit her job last year and we were able to get COBRA.

Agree with randall that it's a good starting point. Matt1 has a pretty cool html5 mockup tool too - http://jmockups.com . Glad to see multiple people in this space.

> Expand to the other major chain restaurants and source your pricing from Mechanical Turk (except for the dollar menus of course). I'd take a few precautions to validate the data. For example, you could put up an HIT to get Burger King

I have an API that addresses some of these issues in alpha right now: http://houdinihq.com . Feel free to get in touch if you'd like - my email's in my profile.

Thanks! We also have some more advanced apis in the works, like asking multiple workers to do the same work and automatically determining the 'true' answer. From your point of view, they'll be just as easy to use though. Pricing is still TB

I'm building an API on top of MTurk, http://houdinihq.com , that you could use. It's currently in alpha, but feel free to email me at presto@houdinihq.com if you're interested in an api key.

This might be possible since I'm the one making the requests to mechanical turk. I'll look into their terms to see if there's anything preventing this.

How nice of you to ask, Matt. :) All you need to do is make a http post to my api with the details of the work you want completed* with a url for me to post back the answer to. I take care of dealing with the mturk api and qualifying answer

Taking a break from coding and contacting a few people to alpha test my api, which provides an awfully simple front-end to Mechanical Turk.
