This has been happening for over a decade. It's very effective and hard to spot if done well.

I'm a past startup founder. Bootstrapped and sold two companies. Taught myself how to program. Wrote the code for two other startups that were acquired.

Google search is just plain bad these days, and I think it has more to do with their attempts at algorithmic curation instead of focusing on simple indexing.

Basically everyone who posted in the original P2P Forums with Satoshi back in the day is smart and interesting, imo.

The 24hr BTC volume on Coinbase alone was $126B. The feds selling $1B won’t make much of a dent.

I built a camper van from a Promaster and it’s 78 inches across in the back. So with a thin layer of insulation I can fit a full size mattress across the back. The Promaster is wider than the Transit or the Sprinter.

Absolutely. The airlines do it all the time with pilots via furloughs during downturns.

Why? Nobody wants to think their success was the result of an unfair arbitrary advantage.

Different people living different lives is closer in analogy to different runners running different races, imo.

I’m sincere. Engaging in racial discrimination does not fix racism. It perpetuates it. It blows my mind that I have to state this in the current year. We have regressed so far.

That’s not how citations work. Can’t prove a negative. It’s on YOU to provide proof because you’re the one making the assertion that future racial discrimination fixes past injustice (which I wholeheartedly disagree with).

Bad analogy. That’s like suggesting we give racers in the next race an advantage because of what happened in the current race, which creates obvious unfair outcomes.

Sure. But, examples like buying a high end guitar off criagslist, or a car from a private party, aren't less of a use case because they aren't every day transactions.
