I realise this is probably half in jest, and I'm not saying I agree with what is happening in Australia. But please remember that there is absolutely no comparison between the state of anything in North Korea and Australia.

The video is well worth watching. It gives a very clear picture of what's happening in North Korea, and about the situation for North Koreans inside and outside of North Korea (I was going to write '...their country', but that doesn't reall

This is not quite correct. The SQL generated in this case depends on the return type of GetThings(). If it returns an IEnumerable<> then it is indeed a terrible thing to do, but if it returns an IQueryable<> then the SQL wil

The .Count() method in LINQ to objects checks to see if the IEnumerable implements ICollection, and if so then just calls the .Count property. Of course, calling the .Count property yourself is more efficient, but not by orders of magnitude

What action is it possible to take over some of the (deliberatly?) incorrect/inaccurate journalism? Can a legal challenge be made? Or is there any other effective way to stop the lies? I'm not trying to suggest that honest debate be stifled

But I can ignore the Bose advert and choose to look at any other manufacturer of audio equipment. The Chinese government claims the right to make that choice for the people. Very effective mind control.

Thanks for the response. It's good to hear your opinion is overall positive when building a large app. Java isn't my favourite language/environment either, but I suppose it gets the job done.

Doubt it. Although it might take a few months to get sorted out. There are many other places to get goods manufactured, and the free market is extremely good at sorting out problems like this.
