In your example, I'd use Record<PropertyKey, unknown> instead

It's a standard practice in functional languages: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unit_type

Might be worth noting that Chromium seems to only use subpixel rendering on high-constrast text. I've also seen sites that don't use it for some other unknown reason, for example Microsoft Teams.

ML models do have a "source" though

It absolutely doesn't. It sounds like further diluting the term "open-source" isn't great.

Also Excel functions are translated based on your region. Which I find annoying, because most learning resources and references are in English, and English function names don't work in other regional settings.

Magic Loop looks very similar to Crank (that nobody knows about either). Was it an inspiration?

Extremely anecdotal, but I've always found GitHub pages to be noticeably slower. Which is weird, because they use Fastly which is generally good.

Surprisingly, socket.io supports WebTransport: https://socket.io/get-started/webtransport The guys at Colyseus (a JS library for multiplayer games netcode) also added support, in a preview version for now.

Head-of-line still exists in HTTP/3, but on another level. A stream can still get blocked. With websockets the whole connection gets blocked (HTTP/1), but that connection isn't shared with anything else, right? Worth noting t

Support is getting there on the browsers' side, but you need a backend that supports HTTP3+WebTransport - barely any out there

In tldraw the text is always in the DOM, so the browser can use your native font rendering (for example ClearType on Windows). In Excalidraw the text is only in the DOM while you're editing it.

And ("vanilla") tldraw supports subpixel font rendering, unlike most of their competition (for example excalidraw or Miro).

There's a Rocksmith mod that allows you to control the menu using the guitar. Also, the Rocksmith USB cable is simply an ADC (with lower latency than most)

I think this is F#, not Haskell. '*' creates a product type, pretty sure it's a tuple in this case. "Meat option" is an alternative syntax for "Option<Meat>" and "Ingredient list" is a link

Small addition because I didn't realise how LiveSvelte works. The backend pushes updated svelte component props to the client instead. You still often have to communicate the client-side changes to the server.

While this paradigm is promising, I see a problem with it. When you make a client-side change to the DOM, it can get overwritten by a subsequent incoming patch from the server. LiveView tries to be somewhat smart when patching the HTML by s
