I've definitely seen an animation issue where the typical _async -> main didn't work, but _after (0.001 seconds or so) on main did. Though I don't remember if it was on Mac or on iOS, or really what the issue was.

It could be implemented at the state level here (Republicans would never allow a pro-labor law like that to be passed federally). If New York, California, or Massachusetts passed a law like this, it could be a competitive advantage in attra

Can't wait for it to die off. The typical "all day meeting with the everyone in your company and no agenda" usage is terrible and the software does very little to discourage it holistically.

This should just be generally illegal from a labor law perspective, not even something specific to doctors.

The popularity of HBO prestige dramas would contradict that... plenty of people watch hour long shows.

The designs from Crate and Barrel usually aren't as good as those Ikea, even if the quality is up to snuff. CB2 is usually okay, as long as they haven't decided to make the piece you want only available in bright orange or somethi

It's taboo because no one cares about your startup and trying to sell things to people is annoying.

First party recruiters are fine, if incompetent in technical matters. Third party recruiters are usually scummy salesmen types.

I mean, there's about 10 slightly-different versions of `map` (whither `zip`, though?). There's several different mutually-incompatible object systems. It doesn't come with a proper dictionary or set. Multidimensional arrays

I am confused - why is 1Password is using anything but iCloud or Dropbox? Those are the only options I see (and "Folder" which is presumably just local).

Yeah, uh, does the syntax highlighter crash every minute in Android Studio? Does the Java compiler regularly segfault? Beating Xcode is not difficult.

Absolutely not. I flag those as spam. Unless it's an email notification from the service because of an action someone took... those are okay but I'd prefer them to be off-by-default.

Why is the company's inability to get users my problem? Those emails get flagged and placed in spam, where they belong? Spam is never "understandable". Get an (explicit, non-dark-pattern) opt in or you're spam.

San Jose definitely decreases the appeal for me as someone that would have to fly in, pay for a hotel, etc. (would be good to also get a trip to a first-class metropolitan city) but I suppose they're not exactly short on demand... and

Depends how frequently you need documentation, and I do iOS so I'm typically running a large iPhone Simulator instance on screen as well.

What ever happened to the Mosul dam? Stories from about a year ago made it sound like collapse was imminent, but it hasn't happened yet. Did they do repairs, or are they just unsure when it will happen?

Eat fewer calories than you expend. Most of your expenditure is BMR + walking around, exercise doesn't add that much (unless you're at Olympic-swimmer levels).
