It might work at distances longer than 300m, but "they ran out of space on the dock." That seems like such a silly limitation to bring up twice in the writeup.

Weight of a vehicle is one of the main risk factors for people in another vehicle in an accident. When you hit a pedestrian their weight is negligible, so it doesn't matter as much, but when another vehicle is involved, it makes a sign

I love the idea of cars vs trucks, and tried to spend my money accordingly recently. My newest vehicle is a Hyundai IONIQ 6 which is a 4 door sedan, and is certainly better in a vehicle-pedestrian or vehicle-bike accident than most other ve

Storage costs can also be significant. I have a friend who pays $200/month for his storage unit to keep all of the extra seasonal junk and decorations, and then must swap it out twice per year. Many people pay a less transparent versio

The Hilux works if your goal is to compare a random compact car to an average midsize truck, but if your goal is to look at how a Ford Ranger compares to a Toyota Tacoma then you are out of luck. I am currently shopping for a new vehicle, a

Princeton does the same thing. Ivy League schools are cheeper than state schools for some students. I think this is the correct route. I don't see anything wrong with wealthy families paying a high sticker price as long as admissions i

Who has time to move all of the way over to the arrow keys, tap a few times and then find the little tab on the J again? I have arrows behind a second layer on my keyboard with vim mapping, and I don't think I could give that up. If yo

The issue isn't the bank angle exactly, it is the acceleration of the roll. Pilots will need to be careful not to throw people or drinks around, but I think it would be doable.

What is the right way to discuss that at an interview? Discussing the applicant's family is typically off limits, but if the goal is to work and be a parent then you must have that conversation early.

If there is a chance you will want to move in the next 10 years, then the numbers are even worse! Not only are you paying more every month with higher rates, but the amortization schedule is not in your favor. For your hypothetical $1M hous
