There might be some lawsuits, but I doubt there will be any significant legal problems. Google would have a market cap several times larger than any potential plaintiff. So they definitely have resources for any legal battle.

IMO Twitter/Facebook are not directly competing with digg. Digg was a news aggregator, Twitter/Facebook aren't.

I think it would be doable. About a year ago I was getting shared internet from someone a couple miles away. There was line of sight between the two antennas, but the internet signal was pretty good.

I think that was kind of the point. The only advertising and marketing a blog should be doing is for the author or products the author feels passionate about.

In my opinion the daemon was just one big deus ex machina. It definitely is not in the same league as Snow Crash. And I don't think Suarez had a very good sense of tension. The book is fast-paced, but it never takes a break. And the protagan

I worked at a place that used hushmail for the corporate email. It was a business account, so they had their own domain, but it was through hushmail. So I guess they are doing some business.

Exactly. For example a judge in Texas recently ruled that plaintiffs in piracy cases should file against individuals. This means that each lawsuit will cost around $350 in filing fees. It isn't financially attractive to spend six figures to

If it made 5 million that year it is one of the few that made money. And besides, I doubt the school would have made money if only profitable teams were allowed to play in the division, so its still a net loss. And that plane trip shouldn't

While there might be a little money in piracy, I doubt there is any serious money. I think that if you had the ability and talent to set up a popular site dealing with piracy, then it would be much more profitable to do something in some ot
