That's a good point. Myself is the easiest person to fool. I knocked together a quick analysis of my commit graphs going back several years, if you're interested: https://mccormick.cx/gh/ My average leading u

I am constantly getting LLMs to change features and fix bugs. The key is to micromanage the LLM and its context, and read the changes. It's slower that vibe coding but faster than coding by hand, and it results in working, maintainable

Sorry about the sarcasm in my reply. I guess what I am saying is at the end of the day you need the program to do the thing. Whatever mutation it needs to do to accomplish the task, that's what you're going to allow. That's e

I'm sure that would work just like how phone apps asking for permission to do each thing has resulted in no phone user ever getting pwned and doxxed by their apps - phone apps are completely safe now, yay!

No corporation wants your kids to use their platforms less. Zero incentive for them to fix this. Parents are at war with corporations. We must hold the line.

Ah ok. If you do run it again that would be a worthwhile change. I know I personally have biases about models and I have seen others commenting the same - it seems likely it would skew the results at least a little. Nonetheless you've

Ah interesting. Thank you very much for sharing the illuminating results. One question I had - was the judgement blinded? Did judges know which models produced which output?

If you view LLM driven dev as a kind of evolutionary process rather than an engineering process (at the level of a single LLM output) then this makes a lot of sense. You're widening the population from which you select for fitness.

I don't mean to sound like I'm demanding this. I'm saying you will get better outcomes if you choose to do this as a developer. You're right it's an interesting problem that seems fun to work on. Hopefully we'l

The harness runs the tool call for the LLM. It is trivial to not run the tool call without approval, and many existing tools do this.

Approval should be mandatory for any non-read tool call. You should read everything your LLM intends to do, and approve it manually. "But that is annoying and will slow me down!" Yes, and so will recovering from disastrous tool ca

People here are claiming that this is true of humans as well. Apart from the fact that bad content can be generated much faster with LLMs, what's your feeling about that criticism? It's there any measure of how many submissions be
