A few weeks ago I wanted to enter the js13k game competition with ClojureScript and Reagent but I couldn't get builds to fit under 13kb. So I forked a Reagent-like library (Mr Clean) and ported it to a ClojureScript-like language calle

I've been working on: - A front-end library that generates 10kb single-html-file artifacts using a Reagent-like API and a ClojureScript-like language. https://github.com/chr15m/eucalypt - Beat Maker, an online dru

Just like breathing, sleeping, and eating, you will always have to oppose tyranny. People who seek control will always try to get more. As long as ordinary people sustain strong opposition in word and deed it is sustainable, just like breat

On further review this is quite a lot further developed than what I suggested above. Sorry for the noise!

Cool. I think you could use a CRDT (even a simple LWW structure) on top of Nostr which already works and has all of the properties you are looking for.

I've duplicated the play button and also made every 4th column brighter. It's live now, thanks so much for your suggestions!

If you have any feedback about what is difficult/buggy on mobile I would love to know. It's a major goal for this to be usable on mobile. Do let me know if you have any suggestions.

The reason upgrades have become routine is because modern software is slop. We should strive for software to do one thing well (or at least be made up of modular parts that do one thing well) and prize backwards compatability, so that it do

Thousands of dependencies is exactly why you need to do this. It's fragile and dangerous to have thousands of possible changes in your software every time you `pnpm install`. Thank you, I'll check it that setting!

Yep. I'm calling it. The churn is more dangerous and fragile than the rot. Two alternatives: - The occasional alert from `npm audit` that you have to carefully, deliberately, and thoughtfully upgrade your way out of. - The shifting san

The correct value for this setting is infinity seconds. Upgrades should be considered and deliberate, not automatic.

The algorithm in Beat Maker bypasses that issue completely by rendering the webaudio graph to a static buffer on every change.

Sounds like a fun project! I also love that you can start out lightweight in Scittle and then switch to compiled cljs fairly seamlessly if your idea takes off. Such a nice dev experience!
