This assumes that the only place a remote worker can work from is their home. There is nothing more detrimental to a person's psyche. Cafes and coworking spaces are the most obvious and effective solution to this problem. I made countl

I'm wondering if there's a MOOC that takes you from zero to being able to build a system that learns how to play such a game, maybe focusing a bit less on the math (especially the proofs). I took Andrew Ng's course on Courser

Because most people don't give a crap? Out of the 10 people who saw the news (on TV!) while I was there 9 reacted with "Ha! These hackers..." and 1 with "I'm pretty sure they are not interested in a guy like me, I&#

Would it be implausible that the user that took the tweet's screenshot was in a timezone 12+ hours behind the timezone used in bitsig? Am I watching too much House of Cards?

I think it's intuitive. As an example look at people who got in shape, I know a few and they all developed a "passion" for working out. Unless there is such a thing as a "passion" gene.

Hi, great idea! I was wondering if you have plans to save the scroll position when transitioning back from an article's comments. It can definitely become my default HN client. Edit: oh never mind, it's working now. Weird.
