TL;DR - Some senators think that the language is too vague and a crypto developer could fall into the definition of a broker, causing them to have strict IRS reporting requirements.

You expected 2021-03-31 + 1 month + 1 month to be different from 2021-03-31 + (1 month + 1 month)? I find this behavior understandable, but not apparent at first glance. Also, FYI, this is not how GNU date works: $ date -d "Jan 28

Yeah I think it's better rephrased as "service reusability". A proper microservice should be able to be redeployed anywhere for anything. If you have an authenticate() function in an auth helper library, you can move that aro

That’s only partially accurate (you’re right that it makes markets look more saturated than they are.) A lot of the time it occurs just from simple acquisitions. For instance, InBev has acquired quite a few beer brands, but they don’t conso

Pork isn’t luxury, it’s really cheap. It’s almost in chicken territory with how cheap it is (where I live).

Sorry, I understand now. My intent was to show that there is a distinct, measurable difference between normal people and influencers in terms of their appearances and behavior in real life. However, I can see how part of that could be seen

No… because that would imply I’m attempting to police what people wear. I am not. My complaint is with Naomi putting words into Google’s mouth and jumping to the extremes, which is completely disingenuous. It has to be, because she’s smart

I don’t watch YouTube/Instagram/Tiktok at all, I feel that the content that people produce is more often than not manipulative, and the algorithms take care of the rest.

Remember a while ago when the “women in stem” (or whatever it was) hashtag took off and women took selfies with what they wear in the lab and at work? Lo and behold, women dress like normal people when working in the lab or with their work

How can you write the law then to be like “yep this section of people, can totally discriminate, everyone else can’t” It feels like something that could be ripe for abuse.

I think what makes this one tricky is that it combines public accommodation with free speech. I believe that you should not be allowed to refuse service based on identity. However, I feel that you should be able to refuse to be compelled to

Sheesh somewhat of an ignorant post. Google “pushed” Python (not sure you can call it that) because it was so popular in academia, and you can guess where a lot of Google’s staff came from. Python 2 is dead. The rest is just bikeshedding.

A lot of subdivisions here build around these as green spaces. They have jogging trails, planted trees, and some of em they also stock and you can fish within your neighborhood. It’s pretty neat.

I don't know about that. I do think it's way way better than helicopter money and PPP loans, but I don't think it'd help this particular issue. Flushing people out of a local maximum (in terms of effort to compensation)

I’d say I’d find a new telecom. Or I’d start or invest in a competitor. At what size and revenue does one lose the ability to remove speech they don’t agree with? If someone posts publicly viewable speech, is it my rite to bear that speech

What's the law in question? If someone posts something that (in my opinion alone) is ridiculous as a comment on my blog and I remove it, would I have to pay a fine in Germany? Why is it okay for the government to compel speech? Edit:
