This article just makes matters worse. Saying nothing would have been better. Not selling would have been the best. This seriously falls in the "I didn't know you could do that category" for me.

I like the way you characterize this but what on your thoughts on why you can't be a wizard with a typed language? Seems to me that if you start with something like Go or Typescript you cover a decent middle ground of foregoing a lot o

The issue of discrimination is real but the intent of this lawsuit is not as honorable as you think. Check out the commentary online about the plaintiff, Students for Fair Admissions, and their anti-affirmative action bias.

Most of the criticisms regarding Black-Scholes that I've seen has to do with the assumption that the probability distribution of future prices is a normal distribution. I didn't think using the risk free to account for the time va

The problem with OOP isn't the concept itself. IMHO, the problem seems to stem the fact that people use a "Class" as both a means of organizing code and as a state machine. When you confuse the two, problems just get exponent

I don't think the modern two wheeled in-line design is an obvious starting point or design iteration. It's not obviously user friendly either. Proof: 90% of the people reading this thread probably had to be "taught" how
