As a foreigner (French) I'm surprised that Americans apparently don't get that mixing a career in politic with a career in justice is the open door to abuse, demagogy or conflicts of interests. This should not be allowed or even possible.

What about 35 or more years prison sentence threat ? Whether law was breached, is apparently not contested. What is weird is this sentence. In France, murder gets you usually at most 20 years jail. The sentence seams totally disproportiona

Space Time may look smooth at the Plank resolution, but space time quantification at a much lower resolution is still possible. Beside if the quantification is organized as a regular 3D lattice and not "foam bubbles" then the space time qua

The certificate images are useless to verify the claims. If there was a MITM of SSL connections it could be seen with the swap of server certificate. This is easy to check and display in an image. Failing to do so is "weird" for the less.

This raise the question if the best entrepreneurs should be psychopaths. Investors seam to favor the psychopath personality characteristics (taking risks, focus, bent rules to reach goal = hack the system, etc.). It also seam that people wi

Is there something special to this place ? Is this a grave ? Are there any signs giving behavior rules as may be seen in some churches ? No common sense justification was given to the rule during the warning. How could this be possible ? Ar

Here is a french blog post providing more information on this explanation which, according to this post, was indirectly confirmed by Xavier Niel, the founder of the ISP. http://www.generation-nt.com/blocage-pub-freebox-revolution-...

Good question and the point of discussion. Most user don't care about settings or ads as long as their usual activity is not impaired. What does the ISP gain with it ? I think most people won't notice. I'm more worried about the step back r

Yes. The bogus filtering of google analytics has been removed. The rules are updated and refined by the ISP. Note that these filtering rules apply only on DNS lookup and not at the HTTP level.

If Ubuntu pushes the wayland path, xubuntu will be dropped as desktop 2D is now dropped. There will be a split in applications and user base. Good luck in trying to compete with iOs and Android by hijacking volunters work.

I'll switch to Xubuntu too because I need remote access. It's not just a matter of UX. Cloud service doesn't solve my problem. The future looks dark because applications won't be able to support Wyland and X11. There will be a fork and Ubun

I don't understand the critics. Do you think that terrorists or criminals are detected by oracles ? You ridiculed the security agencies after 911 for not beeing able to detect such a plot and now you are in shock because they do their job ?

This has nothing to do with authoritarism. It is method to detect behaviour not mathching "normal" pattern. This is used as a heuristic to detect suspicious behavior.
