Seriously ? This is an app that claims to be a secure communication chatting application. This app is not as secure as it should be. I'm off from Telegram. Trust is gone.

I understand what you mean, but for this to be manageable for the end user it should be automatized. On Debian or Ubuntu, when you install a package, all the dependencies are defined. apt-get downloads all related packages taking in account

What is the problem you are trying to solve ? It looks like it is zmq specific. If you decompose a library in different sub libraries, each one with its own version, it may seam that you allow each library to evolve independently. But you a

I had hard a hard Time understanding the fundamental idea. Could some one provide a TL;DR ? My impression is that the versioning of ICE [ http://www.zeroc.com ], I mean the protocol, is the most effective one. The authors learned

I gave the reason, you are ignoring it. Because a creator has the right to decide how it's character is drawn, in what context it's put, for what it is used, etc. it is also a protection against parasites and stealers. If you don&

One may ask for a license to sell own crafted things about something we like. It is legitimate that the initial creator has a control over use of his product image and a cut on the profits. Copyright is not broken. It would not be smart for

Ok my assumption of trust credit working model was inaccurate. Could you give an example how trust could be used to control abuse ? If a user is given initial trust credit, how can one prevent spammers to create million of such "truste

Not sure Internet providers or google will be enthusiast about this proposal. This is equivalent as asking to pay to register a new destination address. In this case the mail relay owner has to pay. It would be more fair to ask users who se

How do you solve the problem of "cold call" with a trusting system ? How does one build up trust with a new account ? Spammers could create million accounts at once and fake trust build up between them. That's why I'm no

Changing SMTP would create a lot of interoperability problems. I agree with this. This is why I concluded that we need a new protocol that solves the problem of SMTP. If it's good it will take over SMTP's market share. That's

SMTP Mail is broken. The best justification is that error messages can't even be sent back to avoid abuse by spammers. People are constrained to use services like gmail to avoid troubles. This is a serious privacy threat.

This system looks overly complex. Too many components, too many protocols, ... It will be hard to maintain as source code, and it will be a brittle infrastructure.
