It looks like it uses "child_pty" to spawn pty's. child_pty hasn't been updated to support the latest nan/v8 api (in fact, it looks like it's been unmaintained since March). It also improperly uses fs streams t

I'm not sure where you're going with this. That `unset` is useless since they don't call sudo to initiate the exploit. The setuid/setgid bits on the newgrp binary are to blame here (combined with the env variable). They

/etc/sudoers is not the only potential target here. Even if that did work, this vulnerability could still brick your entire OS. They could overwrite any file they wanted to.

I'm seriously shocked. This is ridiculous. This looks like possibly the easiest root exploit ever discovered on a desktop OS (a one-liner in bash). Why in the world would they allow an env variable to write to a file in a setuid'd

I thought emacs already had an X11 window manager built-in. In all seriousness, this is pretty cool, and it uses libxcb. Nice.

On another note, I would love to see higher level frameworks wrapping blessed. Blessed gives you the API and some fancy widgets/elements: it's the (nicer) DOM for the terminal. This guy already started an XML-based markup language

I agree with the gif optimization. It's on the todo list. The most important part is actually the x and y offsets for each frame, like you said: the damage to the image. It should be possible since ttystudio uses a blessed terminal cel

The default font (terminus) supports 891 glyphs. However, ttystudio can support any font you find in .bdf format. The readme explains how to use them. Terminus works fine with tmux, vim, ncmpcpp, mutt, irssi, cmatrix, hundreds of pieces of

I'm sorry you feel that way. This project came out of my own need I guess. I had too much trouble with ttyrec+ttygif: glitchy/corrupt gif frames (bad dispose ops maybe?), clunky interface, requires terminal playback on a GUI, conc

ES6 is a mixed bag for me. I'm against block scope in a way. It's semi-useful, but it's just sugar. So many features of ES6 seem to be designed for people who don't want to bother learning javascript: classes, block scop

Is \v being mentioned in specifications really causing a problem? I've never seen someone mistakenly use a vertical tab in code where they could be using something better. Maybe it's useless, but I wouldn't say it's ha
