I'm talking eMLC. I don't see many SLCs on the market anymore.

I would love to see how this stacks up to enterprise SSDs. It is my understanding that they will last years under constant full-bus-speed rewriting.

That is interesting. What if the person shooting the video and operating the drone isn't the one monetizing it? What if he uploads the video to a site that won't pay him and the video is stolen and put on a site that pays the pers

Threatening to turn his information over to the feds = threatening his life. Do I need to remind you that he is sitting in a rape room right now and will be for 30 years?

Policy changes? Do you really think anyone has the power to change the US drug policy? In the next 100 years? I doubt we will even have federally-legal pot in the next hundred years simply because of the trouble it would be to repeal the UN

I haven't read anything about casual murders over drug turf. I have read about government entrapping him by threatening to release information about vendors (IE, threatening violence to get out of a debt.) No, I don't see that as

It depends. I see him as a freedom fighter on the front lines. I will always remember his sacrifices. I guess it depends on your world view.

I get that, but I don't get how that applies to the corruption we are seeing. We aren't having power fail issues.

This comes up every time someone mentions the corruption. We don't power off our many pis, but they are on UPSs (we use them for a security system.) However, the corruption happens so much that we keep disk images and have a spare on h

Maybe they can tackle the long-lived, widely-experienced SD card corruption issues of the RPi in the next version instead of adding a bunch more pins and an extra core. Meanwhile the competition even has eMMC in the same price range.

I think you aren't actually reading it. I do not think Dropbox is less good at running storage than Google or Amazon, yet Google is 1/2 the cost.

Then you need to read the damned TOS side by side with dropbox. They are significantly different in scope and the rights allowed.

You need to actually read the TOS for dropbox. It says they can use your stuff for any service they offer now or in the future. I don't need proof. You need to go read the TOS I mentioned already.

Read their TOS and compare it to Google Drive's TOS. The insane rights the Google TOS grants to Google are why it costs ~ 1/2 as much. It is also an indicator that Dropbox is less shady. They don't grant themselves rights to

Fedora was using it as default for a year before Arch. Redhat definitely paved the way. Many were slow to adopt it because it was such a radical change and most of the changes were seen as boons only for the virtualization stack that Redhat

I was taught this in my college history classes in reference to cholera outbreaks in the USA in the 1800s. We were taught people use "half beer" which was 50/50 mixed with water, as a safety measure. I have no idea if it is r
