Incoming, "this isn't reddit" trolling. :) I recently got to see this in the theater with my 6 year old. We have watched it at home dozens of times and he knows most of the big one liners. It was excellent. I love that the te

There are websites that let you put in your macros and your calories, and the type of diet you want to eat, and they design a diet for you automatically.

Yup, I was looking at an open source recommendation engine and went to read their wiki when I discovered it was all hosted on sourceforge. Nope. I'll write my own, thank you very much!

Yep. I would post from time to time to point out incorrect "facts" they posted. It doesn't matter how well researched and reasoned your argument is. If you aren't towing the line, you are moderated and banned. They auto

Please explain that for me, because resistance is the thing that burns the kinetic energy off to other forms (such as heat). If you remove resistance, what is the problem?

I agree with some frustration, but getting upset that apples aren't oranges isn't valid. Someone would need to write the driver for this functionality. I expect Intel is happy letting apple do the work, but so long as that is the

The thunderbolt monitor isn't 5 times more expensive, it is 3 times more expensive. It also has many features your displayport monitor does not have. It has a thunderbolt hub w/ a thunderbolt port. Apple is daisy chaining their di

Yeah we don't have that problem with MariaDB at all (joking.) Bad users (read: developers) can break things. If you are worried about bad users, then put an api between users and the datastore to keep them from breaking things.

No, it proved that you can't have poorly-run drug stores. The exit scams are because demand is greater than supply. The centralization is what makes them possible. The same thing would be possible if every coke dealer did the same thin

ZeroMQ merely solves exposure of sockets as queues. In all distributed systems, there must be a set of known hosts, or discovery becomes tedious. DNS is an easy way to solve this.

No, there totally isn't. I'm returning an Ubuntu certified Dell m3800. The hardware specs on the thing are amazing, but Ubuntu has no centralized method of controlling the UI, much like in Windows, it's up to the developer.
