I read this post more as a fun thought experiment. Everyone knows Claude isn't sophisticated enough today to succeed at something like this, but it's interesting to concretize this idea of Claude being the manager of something and

This stuff is beautiful. I still don't understand how nobody has built a nice AI typeahead for the terminal yet. Cursor tab would legit be perfect but they'd don't allow it in terminal. I'm almost tempted to just hack

I think there are always creative ways to differentiate the two tiers for those who care. “Free tier users relinquish all rights to their (anonymized) queries, which may be used for training purposes. Enterprise tier, for $200/mo, guar

Only sane comment here lol. I just don't know what the point of reading rants like this is vs going to a primary source like Pitchbook, which will tell you that venture deals are almost as high as the 2021 craziness right now https:&

I honestly think it comes down to preferred work style in some cases. Once a codebase gets decently complex, it’s true that you have to supervise the AI extremely closely to get a good result. But at least for me I tend to enjoy doing that

My read on it was that if you keep wait_for_async_insert=True then the client will still wait until there's confirmation of a successful transaction, giving the possibility to retry. It does require one to actually have a retry handle

I love TikTok! Use it all the time. But sometimes, they show me political content. And I worry about the process that selects those videos.

Yeah I mean idk what to tell you, your comment is 100% vibes and wavey metaphors. The reality is that China gets to control which videos get put in the FYP and there are plenty of good videos with "controversial political stance A&quo

I don’t understand this argument that China couldn’t possibly use the app to influence public opinion. The TikTok algorithm works by tagging a bunch of features onto a video. How positive is it, political bent, comedy, cat, depressive, anyt

I’ve been meaning to give this a shot. I wonder if anyone has figured out how to fit Twitter into RSS? It’s obviously not a natural fit since there are many more posts but the average quality and length is lower. But if I could figure it ou

Nobody commenting here wants to hear it but this is almost certainly just a bug or ai misbehavior. Some new domain pops up and gets flagged as being associated with spam or bad content. It’ll be silently fixed but nobody will hear about it

One way to look at is that the third party GPU packagers have a different set of expertise. They generally build motherboards, GPU holder boards, RAM, and often monitors and mice as well. All of these product PCBs are cheaply made and don

I can see why this would be more productive and produce better code. But is it fun? A lot of the joy I get from working is in solo creation - building prototypes without a plan, playing with them, iterating, showing to the team. It seems li
