I can't find it at the moment, but there was a Reddit post from a claims adjuster that said when filing a claim, be as specific as possible. So don't just put down "55-inch flatscreen television", it's a "Samsu

I haven't tasted the delights of the veggie omelet yet. But the dried pork patty we had in the mid 1980's was horrific. This was before the flameless ration heaters, so your choice was to hydrate it with cold water, or break piece

Depends on the drive technology. For SSDs you want to avoid extra writes as those wear down the cells. For traditional hard drives you can consolidate empty space to reduce cluster waste, or go for broke and just place everything in order

Not just Apples and veggies - check out Jimmy Red corn. It used to be a favorite of bootleggers, making illicit corn whiskey (aka moonshine), but was nearly lost. It's now available for sale again, both as seed corn and as a whiskey.

See the capacitor in this closeup that kens took of a power supply module in the Apollo Guidance Computer? My dad's company made it. You are telling the wrong person that the landing was faked. https://static.righto.com&#

As someone who was born before the moon landing and saw one of the last IMPs get installed on the ARPANET, yeah that was offensive. You should apologize. Knowing to silence your phone in meetings is a matter of having manners, not age.

I for one, am not going to blame it on an actual wealth gap. Shows like "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous" and "MTV Cribs" were around long ago and didn't cause financial angst. Probably because watching a weekly t

Exactly. When the pavement is covered in snow the cameras & image software are going to freak out. 1. Not enough contrast to determine where the lane is. Or the curb. 2. A previous car might have wheel-spun a trough down to the pavement

The problem with NFTs is that they often don't have good provenance, and so are ripe for fraud. Suppose we have a well-known photo of the Brooklyn Bridge. It was scanned twice and separate NFTs were created and sold. The data & has
