I bought a Bugzooka[1] and it works great to catch stink bugs and similar slow insects. It safely traps them alive, does not stink the house, and allows me to easily catch 10-15 bugs before I need to empty it outside. It is humane, kind of

They kind of offer that with their Redis (via Upstash). But for our use-case, we needed it to be managed PG and Redis. Going out of the LAN introduces too much latency.

Apple, Google, Facebook+Instagram, and Amazon already have every photo of most people since 2010. They can do that today if they decide. For my kids, they have every photo and video since the day they were born. For the newer portrait photo

It's not as much of a benefit as one might think because the debris will still remain in the food. Gamma rays will kill the bacteria but not remove their remnants, which can cause other issues.

Glad to know I wasn't the only one with these Finder issues. Thankfully force quitting and restarting Finder brought things back for me. I did have to go through menu options (for first time ever) to show the sidebar and tab bar.
