Surely "Claude Opus 4.7" and "Claude Opus Latest" should be the same, right?

Affordable ram! I recently bought one for my k3s cluster, and it was the cheapest 16g ram I could get by a decent margin.

Not the one you were asking, but… I have been using Opus (in zed) to find the “in between” bugs. Bugs that kinda live in the space between micro services or between backend and frontend. It takes a bit of preparation to get good results, bu

I have been eyeing off the ollama and minimax plans, but I just don’t know how to compare them. Ollama especially, I have no idea how much usage I could get out of a plan. Also, just learned about opencode go from other comments here, so go

4.6 has been excellent when used through the API. But I am right with you on 4.7, so I have been sticking to 4.6.

Interestingly, yeah, I can see that this would really cut into your subscription usage with the 5 hour rate limit windows... I am an API user, and while it being down is super annoying, it isn't really as big of a hit to my overall usa

I disagree with that, There’s likely quite a bit frontend devs can do to improve things. Stuff like optimising the requests to reduce the load being put on the backend.

Don’t forget, repeatedly ignoring the requirements for including tests, and instead offering up a “have tested it locally, trust me” as a substitute.

Well... we have k8s for that... I do not wish to take k8s away from those who like it, I am asking for a new solution that's very opinionated, and as close to zero config as practical.

I have limited ram and want scale to zero for apps that use a lot of ram, but I only use one of at a time like game servers, or things that can be done over night while I sleep like media encoding. The main reason I went to k8s, is for the

it's been a few years since I looked into it, but the 12x-24x was the range I saw for sites that actually sold. I guess it might have changed since then.

But k8s does not do almost any of those things! You have to pick and then configure those components, just like you would have had to pick and configure apps doing those things if you were not using k8s, so the only thing k8s actually bring

Yep, this is my main problem with k8s, it really feels like none of the choices have been made, it's all chose and configure components.

lol, the big problem with kubernetes is that none of the choices have been made, it's not opinionated at all, there's no conventions. It's all configuration and choices all the way down. There's way too much yaml, and wa

I am so tired of everything electronic only coming in black and maybe gray. I like colors! So it's nice to see apple finally bringing a bit of color back.

From my observation, people who use the api either end up learning to be much more token efficient, or use a cheaper model. I have been using the API for the last 2 years, OpenRouter for personal projects and Claude API for work, most of it

I got a claude api key from work that I use with zed. It works really well and usually ends up costing $25/day if I use it all day. I did recently experiment with copilot for personal stuff, but will cancel it now that opus is no longe

Managing context size and efficient token usage is a skill. I have an Anthropic API key for work, and if I use sonnet/opus all day for agent coding, it ends up costing about ~$25. I am going to need more cpu/ram to run multiple ag

GLM is the first open source model that actually worked for me, where I found the output ok. And yes, sonnet/opus is better and what I use daily. But I wouldn’t be that upset if I had to drop down to GLM.

I have never seen a model be “lazy” before (I have seen them go for minimal change). I have been using the models through the api with various agents and no custom system prompt. So I am curious, how do people get these lazy outputs? Is it

Pretty sure it’s a harness or system prompt issue. I have never seen those “minimal change” issues when using zed, but have seen them in claude code and aider. Been using sonnet/opus high thinking with the api in all the agents I have
