It feels great when I read something that, somehow, I always believed but could not exactly articulate. I know people that believe that, most of the time, the best way to respond to unreasonable or irrational petitions is to do it by means

That is certainly a part of the problem. It amplifies the apparent relevance of erroneous perspectives and furthers the idea that expertise is at hand's reach for laypeople.

I do believe that many of the findings of nutrition science are half baked, provably contradictory, and ignore a plethora of factors that play a role in the interaction between food and health. But there's another bazooka in the room:

This article raises a lot of suspicion, and it has many of the hallmarks of bad reporting. - The Vice piece is shallow and didn't investigate the claims and arguments of the cited article (And what's with the authors photo? Is Zin

In desktop Firefox there is a dark background option, which is my favorite, along with serif font. I used to postpone my reading list until reading mode came about, because the white screen is just too much sometimes.

I often use the reader mode in Firefox. Although it is not the same as a dark mode for a whole webpage, it is pretty good at removing clutter and making a web text easier to read. With the added bonus that there are no permissions involved

I use this in measuring field areas. Like the text reads, this is Green's Theorem. The area of a triangle ABC can be determined by doing the cross product of any of the vectors that are the translation from a vertex to another (e.g. AB

The irrigation controls have a direct and significant impact in yield. Other tools raise profitability by contributing to greater efficacy and less waste. The pH meter, for example, pretty much payed itself the first time it was used.
