I wish I could block any IP that runs CPanel and Wordpress. Every time a server is hammering our corporate firewall, I know that if I put it into Shodan, it's going to be running out of date versions of those two. It's rare they c

For the longest time Authenticator was almost abandoned by Google, so it's not surprising the team responsible for the bundled Android apps swerved it. It didn't need bells and whistles and constant security updates, but it took 1

What do you use to interface with Qwen? I have LMStudio installed, and use Continue in VSCode, but it doesn't feel nearly as feature rich compared to using something like Cursor's IDE, or the GitHub Copilot plugin.

I had to do it on either Atom Bank or Starling (signed up for both at a similar time). Monzo also have you recite something but it's something far less exciting like "My name is X and I bank with Monzo".

Yeah the commit messages suggest all the heavy-lifting was done on kernel.org's server. It's just matched his GH user to the email in the commit.

Wouldn't surprise me if they had something like this in a few cities with big production teams. There must've been pipelines in place from when 35mm was the standard for movies, and crews needed to get hours of footage developed a

I don't even know what these big flashy features are anymore. Every year I get asked by staff "Can I upgrade to <latest major Mac OS>" and every time I tell them they can, but they won't see anything different. The

It was quite jarring in Amazon's Citadel Diana. The voices were ever so slightly out of sync with the lip movements, and the audio sounded like the studio recording hadn't been processed to match the environment.

Damn, was hoping this would bring TF2 back to Mac. Haven't had a good LAN party in the office since Apple dropped 32-bit support.

It won't spin but there's probably forensics teams out there that can get the data off for a lot less than $800M.

I suspect some of these channels are on stolen accounts. One of them has the "Official Artist Channel" badge, and a handful of completely unrelated videos.

To what end? I can't think of an Apple product that needs low power Wifi and/or Bluetooth, and also operates at such a low price-point that there's not budget to put something bigger on the BoM.
