System76 systems absolutely do not have good battery life. The systems the make tailored only to battery life try to be comparable in battery (~14h system76 to ~25h on m2 pro) but obviously x86 vs arm makes this attempt exceedingly dif

How does this compare to the work done by the Netherlands group (Hulsing/Zimmermann, etc al) [1] and the Kudeldki group from Switzerland (Raynal/Genet/Romailler) [2]? It's nice to see someone making this more available.

Dedicated JavaScript processor sounds interesting. I wonder who will do the JPU first, and how many requests it will send per second to IP addresses you didn't ask it to send.

Bringing up the device performance and hinting at planned obsolescence of devices is probably not the best tactic here when debating android vs iOS. Apple has a worse track record when it comes to that (while still allowing Google/andr

Is there a good way to automatically *always* have reader mode on? Better yet, are there any ways to *not even load the other junk*, just load the text only for the reader mode. As far as I understand, Firefox still loads everything, does

Hacking can often simply refer to someone who writes code fast and loose, without care towards readability or reuse. The result usually looks like they were trying to be clever, but really it's just obtuse.

I would think the big issue here is that they still make a ton of money off of you by selling your data. Any Software as Service is deeply flawed because it is pretty much guaranteed to extract as much data from the consumer as possible. In

Measurement of IQ seems to be lacking due to it missing the goal of estimating capacity to learn independent of external factors (I.e. either very *shallow* types of diversity [sex, race, etc], or more meaningful types of diversity [langu

If someone says that the phrase 'some people are smarter than others' is racist, that's specifically them being racist, (as they're the ones who brought race into it in their own mind) not the speaker of the phrase.
