Looks great, but I ran into an issue I'm hoping you can help with. I copy/pasted the very first example from the blog and it doesn't compile. I also have been unable to find the documentation necessary to get past the problem

Yeah, I agree. I do think Microsoft is capable of messing it up and blowing their first mover advantage. They have messed a whole lot of things up over the years. But they haven't messed up Github, VS Code, Typescript, several other th

I did the same. I asked it to create a scene where (glossing over the "gory" details), Gomer Pyle explained to Romeo what cunnilingus is and and how he should perform it on Juliette. I told it to have Gomer speak like Gomer and Ro

To be fair, I don’t see a conflation here. He chose not to elaborate on generator functions, but that appears to be due to a defensible conscious choice about article scope. Imo it’s a well written, technically accurate article.

Gerald Weinberg said the same thing this way: "Expect irrationality." The point he makes in that chapter has saved my sanity many times. https://geraldmweinberg.com/Site/Consulting_Secrets.html

I love the way this is written to be as simple and understandable as possible. Too bad more writing in mathematics and science is not approached this way.

You're asking mostly non-sellers how to learn to sell. It might be like going to a sales conference and asking them for advice on how to get into coding. And I think the actual answer would be similar: maybe "anyone" can lear

The thing is, you don't know that you would be better off socially had you gone down the normal path. School suppresses kids and forces them to conform. That's probably the thing it does more strongly than anything else. And it do

Cognitive bias kept me from seeing this at first, but this is really a sign, not just of a broken set of incentives, but _decline_. If you're old enough, imagine how we (USA-centric) would mock flawed research coming out of the Soviet

I think it's kind of like the AI Winter -- there was a period of time when the software industry really went down a stupid path in regards to diagram-based code generation. A lot of kool aid was drunk over promises of making it so that
