I don't get the naysayers, I absolutely see this happening. Take senior care, absurdly expensive even with low cost human labor, $100K a year. If we had $50k robots, it would be a game changer. People could live out their final years i

No I don't. The only thing consumers care about is price. They don't consider pollution, waste, labor conditions. So if the only lever you have to affect consumers is price, then you must factor in the negative factors with higher

Why? People make social media accounts with their real name and face already. I doubt it would have any effect.

>you were considered an ass You were considered an ass by people that actually knew you . The internet lynch mob takes a 30 second clip of a person they don't know and demand that the person have their life destroyed.

Except parents can't control what their children's peer's internet usage is. A common argument to let kids use social media is that their friends use it and they would be left out. This problem can't be solved by individ

I assume if it reaches dire levels the government will just mandate that you raise children. I dont see anything wrong with that, personally. Raising kids is a duty like paying taxes or registering for the draft. Previously, it was just ass

I disagree with this. Everybody wears clothes. Everybody eats food. You can't put a monetary value on a t-shirt, because people will buy them anyways. Who is to say that t-shirts aren't $60? People only think that t-shirts are &qu

Sometimes you do things you don't want to do because it prevents worse things from happening in the future. Such as hostile countries shutting off manufacturing to the US.

China didnt eliminate poverty, it merely shifted dirty work to other poor countries (other SE asian countries). Just like the US did. Just like all countries will do until they run out of poor countries and the pyramid scheme of globalizati

>They pay like crap. Then raise the wages. Yes that means products get more expensive, but so be it. The economy will find a new equilibrium. White collar workers will see their purchasing power decrease, but factory workers will see it

Im not a pilot or anything, but looking at the cockpit of the f35, it seems pretty weird that the whole thing is a big touch screen. Reminds me of cars replacing physical controls with touchscreens...
