The Civil War was not about racism, it was about the South demanding that new states be slave states, which threatened the balance of power between the North and South. Lincoln literally only freed the slaves because he believed if would he

You're right, telling people that they are good at something may very well lead them to perform better at it. But what if society subtly, almost subliminally suggested that some kids are gifted in, say, sports but not school, while oth

The great thing about modern racism is that no one can ever prove race was an issue in any particular case unless you confess it. As long as you don't express racist sentiments out loud, you'll always have some form of plausible d

The law conditions votes on fines or fees related to their sentence. There is no system for actually determining what’s owed, so some felons who could vote may not register for fear of committing another crime. Now that you’re aware of this

Bullets don’t have names on them and tear gas doesn’t discriminate between peaceful protestors and looters. The use of force should be a final response, not an initial one. It can and does hurt innocent people, inciting even more violence.

I’m guessing you weren’t alive in the 1960s. Those are most certainly not the answer. Rubber bullets can blind or kill. Tear gas hurts like hell. The correct action is reform.

It would be difficult to do if you intend to build your business around low-skilled work. As an aside, every mentor I've ever had that has started a tech consulting firm has advised me against starting one.
