I bought a RCA Cambio 12.2 tablet last summer for something to play with ($220). It has decent specs (Celeron N4000, 64GB storage, 12" display at 1920x1200) except for the 2GB RAM handicaps it greatly for Windows 10 usage. I put Debian

I wonder how they will handle returns and such like when you sell on eBay or Amazon. eBay started out as simply a middleman who helped bring buyers to sellers, and then stepped out of the way. When bad sellers started scamming people too mu

This is similar to my favorite silly theory about dogs. There is only one dog. Every dog you meet is the same dog. Whenever the dog dies, it is re-incarnated as another dog somewhere and somewhen.

I have been saying for years (since OS 9) that Apple UIs are nowhere near as intuitive as their reputation would have you believe. The worst part is, because Apple does this bad stuff, everyone else thinks it must be a good idea and copies

I made this fake cable website[1] years ago that let you find all kinds of silly and impossible cables. There's a funny story about how I got Google Product search to implement a policy that all products submitted to their database had

When I was around 19 and messing around with Visual Basic 5, I made a Sudoku solver. I thought up an algorithm myself, coded it, and it worked. I was very proud of myself. Seeing how succinct this SQL solver is now, I am in awe.

This really takes me back, in a good/nostalgic way. That 3 column layout with a header on top was the go-to layout for content heavy sites.

I think a part of it is due to the difference in store size and product offering. Fry's had PCs and components sure, but it also tried to have a bit of everything . Large home appliances, software/games, DVDs/CDs, car stereo

The one off 75 is always very busy when I go there on a Saturday. The DIY PC section always has a few people pushing around a cart full of parts, and even the pre-built system area will be crawling with customers.

I bought my camera bag from that same Fry's store back in July 2018, and the shelves were full, but it was still a far cry from how I remember it back when it first opened. Very few customers there either. Might have been 10 customers

I've always been a fast walker. I hate being in crowds where people are moseying along at a slow pace. Last year I finished a half marathon about 10 minutes slower than my brother, who was running/jogging, while I walked (albeit f
