I second Mitre. They didn't hire me after an interview, but they're soooooooo nice and welcoming. Such a professional, nice company that does crazy futuristic science.

I disagree, the phone/laptop manufacturer will get blamed for bad battery drainage, not the app/website/media. For bandwidth, I'm going to blame my ISP, Chrome, firefox, etc. For the media (gif versus movie), I'm go

I'm glad someone else thinks like this, the other devs on my team get so caught up on the little things in the application we are building and all this little crap the user won't care about if it doesn't work as they expect.

I'm with SonicScrub. In my last job, my yearly licenses for me and my group of about 6 were $1 million annually not including hardware. We likely heavily skewed the average workers costs since we used extremely expensive, specialized s

This. NYers do not respect crosswalks, jaywalking or rules of the road. It is chaos. People walk wherever and drive wherever. It is chaos. I was shocked to see the contrast between NYC and Montreal in terms of respecting the rules of road

Agreed. I wish more movies were 3-5 hours long with maybe a 10 minute intermission where the director shows something metaphorical. I love deep story telling and will gladly sit through a 3-4 hour movie

I don't understand why people would make a scene of your mistakes. I'd find it interesting and start asking tons of questions. It is a unique quirk and cool since it isn't really negatively affecting your life
