I remember resorting to using typeorm's queryrunner.query writing SQL by hand quite a few times. Eventually I figured I'll just get really good at SQL. Haven't tried it but MikroORM has been on my list of tools to try out.

And that is a big difference - Christianity views suicide as disgraceful, punishable, and cowardly. Seppuku on the other hand is honorable and courageous. I've also heard of older Japanese committing suicide to ease burdens on the ne

Its not so much about the removal of google for the sake of privacy for me. I think part of it is the way that google caters answers to you, and in a very weak way setting off your mind into a feedback loop of your own proclivities. We ge

Don't you think there's too much thinking involved in an article about not thinking? I just watched Joe Rogan's interview of David Goggins[1], and he lives the essence of what this article is trying to express. I think his p

I'm in the same boat. News is addicting. I've done a lot to rid myself of various addictions but news has been the last and hardest one to crack. It seems like it would be beneficial to know what's going on, and sometimes

I agree with the sentiment that they only augment our capabilities, but then we end up with another problem, which is that the people who write the software are not fully aware of how it all works. Relevant to my argument is Jonathan Blow&#

This sounds like a huge step up in company management from what exists at most places. I love how it creates the side effect that bad managers get fired if they fire a good employee (as you mentioned elsewhere). Its not even a written rule

Just because we eliminate oil as a source of energy doesn't mean we end its dominance. The stone, bronze, iron age were not about using them as fuel. Plastics are still everywhere and not about to change any time soon.
