This is only tangentially related, but I’ve seen a handful of projects with this same front end design. Does anyone have any insight or resources regarding this design system?

Have you looked at their body of work? An embedded YouTube video does not negate their ethos.

Any insight into what —? could be?

I believe you can run a command to point its font options to a directory.

I’ve been using Quarto for a few years now. It’s quite a breeze to use. Highly recommend to anyone looking to publish technical writing on their static site.

According to that link the most money they contributed to lobbying in the past 5 years was $600,000 most years around $200,000. That’s barely the cost of a senior engineer.

How does Glicol differ from Supercollider ( https://github.com/supercollider/supercollider )?

I appreciate the concept here, but I agree with your sentiment. It’s reminiscent of the crude as a personality type that was almost hipster popular.

Sounds like my Nix setup!

I could see this idea being used in a lot of the charm.sh products.

The idea that anyone would use this during "common operations" is laughable, but as one offs during specific operations, maybe.

This site looks like so many other software sites these days. It’s a trend.

I highly doubt that. TE has a strong reputation and their involvement in another company's product outside of their normal business won't impact their sales regardless of whether or not R1 is a flop or a ruse.

I set it up initially on Vercel, but now I use Firebase because I'm sure it'll be cheaper in the long run.

A couple of weeks ago, I set up this exact thing for a restaurant. Simple and free. I had app script build the site on updates. So they could edit it any time, it would trigger a rebuild, and redeploy as a static site.

That's a fair point. There were certainly small discrepancies when I ran it multiple times, but I'll use the median metric moving forward.

I've zipped it up and sent a link.

This is exactly what I've been looking for. I had been using my own scripts with Sharp for image optimizations like this, but this eliminates the need for the that entirely and works much better! I ran Jampack after building my Quarto

Glow is great! Love all the charm.sh projects. Only gripe is that I don't seem to be able to use tab autocomplete with glow.

It is a great editor. Your points are spot on. The vault-centric use of Obsidian is limiting, and has stopped me from using it as my main editor. I use it only for a single synced vault. All other md files are edited using other tools.

If you haven't tried Obsidian, I would. It has the features you were looking for. The downside being it is directory (vault) based as well and doesn't really offer the ability to edit one off files.

My thoughts exactly. I'm willing to give it a try because it's exactly how I imagined a companion device for intelligent note taking. Given that it's a collaboration with TE, I trust the build quality. My only concerns rest i

I’ve really liked Lapce for the past 3/4 months I’ve used it, but there’s been a persistent issue that keeps me going back to Lite XL. Pasting huge blocks of text, think 80,000 characters long, breaks it to the point of not being able
