I have an XPS 13 Ivy Bridge generation running Ubuntu and power management is perfectly fine. My WiFi does seem rather poor in terms of signal strength/stability compared to other devices I own, however.

That quote definitely doesn't make sense. Maybe he's thinking of Windows ME, widely regarded as being worse than 98? It's an odd thing to mix up for anyone familiar with the two.

Gradle is pretty tightly integrated with the IDE now, and in general I find myself rarely having to troubleshoot build problems with Android studio. Adding new dependencies is as simple as adding a single line to the build.gradle file, it&

Glad to see this reach final. Have been using it since the first alpha release at I/O 13 and it's been getting better and better.

This is awesome, as someone going through the interview process this will be my go-to for reviewing. Also, thanks for coming to HackSC! Your talk was great and I think it really inspired a lot of people who were new to the hackathon scene.

For the most part, this is true, but they don't have it working quite right on Android. Opening the app from the launcher doesn't clear active notifications as it would if you launch the app by clicking on the notification. I&#x

Did you have to turn this on in the Google Apps control panel? I'm unable to get it to work (Google Apps free edition, grandfathered).

Will.i.am is an interesting guy. This looks much more refined than the weird iPhone camera accessories he launched a year or two ago. I still believe that smartwatch ecosystems outside of Android Wear and Apple's Watch are unlikely to

Wow, congrats on the round! Looks like an amazing service. Will be trying it soon for a project I'm working on, Android speech APIs aren't quite cutting it. Can this be run continuously from a Service on Android? Didn't see a

Small thing - the Pinterest story involved the Palo Alto Apple Store, not the public library, if I recall correctly. Good notes. A few typos.

Vanguard. Website works well enough. Rarely find a need to use the Android app - I use Mint primarily to keep an eye on my accounts, and Google Now for timely updates of certain stocks/funds.

I've been to a dozen large hackathons and they essentially all operate in this manner. I've been trying to come up with another way - the expo style has many shortcomings including those you listed. It's very hard to stand
