Wow. This is a travesty if I've ever known one. Hopefully, that can be posted and upvoted on HN.

This is the nail on the coffin, but make no mistake, Cloudflare has been a liability. It's a massive Man In the Middle decrypting all traffic, including OkCupid and 4chan for example. Imagine all those 4channers learning they aren'

If that's the take, that means Cloudflare is okay with 'breaking laws' so long as they can take a heavy cut of the ill gotten gains? </sarcasm> Let's not try to find reasons to harm the messenger and stick to

It's unclear as it shouldn't be possible to be cheap. That said, in a world of data, Cloudflare being a massive man in the middle (MITM) probably means something [1]. [1] Cloudflare decrypts your traffic, reads it, and then forwar

This is a really important lesson here. Don't put your eggs in one basket, and if network delivery/etc. is core to your revenues and livelihood, don't trust a random third party host to look out for you. 10TB/80TB at 120

I appreciate the preview functionality which lets you see how it would look on another website. Really intuitive and makes sense on a css-page.

There's a separate project Cloud Seeder [1] which is completely open source and gives you 1 click server appliances and IP addresses on-premises. Disclosure, I work there. [1] https://github.com/ipv6rslimited/cloud

Hey HN, As part of our mission to maintain transparency, we open sourced our TLS SNI reverse proxy. This uses a LRU cache [1] to improve DNS caching and performance as well as the usual suspects in GoLang for the Go Magic. Every part of the

This was a tremendous write-up. I appreciate the detail including your ingressd setup. I agree, though, that this is a pain. It's for this reason that we made Cloud Seeder [1] so you can have hands-free setup of your homelab and IPv6rs

Hi HN, We just launched NAT64 support [1] and we had some issues with IP addresses. Luckily, we're developers, so we coded a simple solution. NAT64+DNS64 requires names to work, so we create these pseudonyms for IP addresses. host 8.8.
